He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. C. M. Lloyd Beatty and Irene Kingsbury Beatty; his siblings, Allen Beatty and Phyllis Beatty Beiswenger; and his grandson Robert James Crowder.
He is survived by : his wife Sue Stalder Beatty; and his children, Kathy Kersey (Verolen), Pam Crowder (Les) and Jim Beatty (Kari Kennedy). He is also survived by three grandchildren and six great grandsons.
