With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jenny Lynn Sunderwirth (Denver, Colorado), who passed away on January 29, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Stan Sunderwirth; her step-daughter Keenan (Stefan Herlitz); her step-granddaughter Violet Herlitz; her sisters, Mary Groshans (Andy) and Elaine Engle (Brian); her nephew Owen; her brother Michael Petruska (Maryann); her brother-in-law Eric Sunderwirth; her nephew Dr. Keith Groshans (Win); her goddaughter Heather Hertzler (Mike); her nieces, Laura Petruska and Michelle Petruska; and her parents, Vera Mae Petruska and Steve Petruska, Jr..
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Fairmount Cemetery (430 S Quebec St, Denver, CO 80247). During the pandemic, Jenny became obsessed with tracking down her family's ancestry and produced a book on her ancestry on her mother's side.
