She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Benjamin Emanuel DeWald and Elizabeth DeWald (Schwartz); her husband Harold; her daughter Carol Burrill; her siblings, Leroy, Harlan, Howard, Paul, Darrell and Norma Feil; her children, Stanley Michaelis (Mary) and Ruth Martin; and her grandchildren, Sheri Kindsvater (Will Ely), Lorraine Dodson (Michael), Brian Burrill (Sarah), Christopher Michaelis, Kimberly Odinga (Andrew), Elizabeth Michaelis and Adam Martin (Carrie). She was also cherished by 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum (1730 E Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 846 East Pikes Peak Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
