It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herlinda Ruiz of Westminster, Colorado, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Guadalupe Zavala and Francisca Zavala; her husband Genovevo Ruiz; her son Christopher Ruiz; her granddaughter Angela Abeyta; and her great grandchild Mystie Ruiz.
She is survived by : her children, David Ruiz (Paula) and Sylvia Sanchez (James Sr); and her daughter-in-law Carla (Chris). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, twelve great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Aspen Arvada Chapel (6370 Union St, Arvada, CO 80004). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Ft. Logan National Cemetery (4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236).
