He was predeceased by : his parents, Jose Simon Lopez and Rebecca Ruybal Lopez; and his wife Della Romero Lopez. He is survived by : his niece Rose Vialpando; his granddaughter Eileen; his siblings-in-law, Wilma Duran (Ross), Dorthy Valdez, La Jara, Gloria (Glen) and Donald Romero (Bernadette) of Antonito; and his sons, Toby, Rev. Anthony and Ronnie.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 6th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, February 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A mass will be held on Tuesday, February 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM.
Salomon was honored a few years ago with a lifetime achievement award for his contributions to the keeping of the traditions of the folk and Spanish music passed through generations.
