It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dylan Mathew Petersen of Frederick, Colorado, born in Pensacola, Florida, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 19, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his parents, Thorpe Leroy Petersen Jr. (Liliana Petersen) and Jeanette Yvonne Sciara (Petersen); his step-siblings, Brandon Petersen, Nathan Petersen (Alyssa Fitzingo), Ryan Petersen, Daniela Ruiz Giraldo, David Ruiz and Valencia Sciara; and his grandparents, Thorpe Petersen Sr. (Francisca Petersen) and Jeri Jones (David Jones). He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, February 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Tabor Funeral Services Chapel (75 S 13th Ave, Brighton, CO 80601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Elmwood Cemetery (14800 Old, Brighton Rd, Brighton, CO 80601).
