He was predeceased by : his adoptive father Adolph (Mabel Fortin); his parents, Adolph Fortin and Mabel Fortin; and his former life partner Carolyn Fortin. He is survived by : his children, Steve Fortin, Vince Fortin, John Fortin, Shelley Fitzmaurice (Mike) and Camille Chevalier; and his grandchildren, Jake Schroeder and Paris Schroeder. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 19th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Denver Mortuary Chapel (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). A committal service will be held on Monday, February 19th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033).
