It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Della Marie Hemminger (Colorado Springs, Colorado), born in Norfolk, Nebraska, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Heberer and Marjorie Heberer. She is survived by : her husband Dave (Dave); her children, Doug (Deena), Daniel (Kerri) and Dina (Dan); her grandchildren, Alex, Sydney, David, Gavin and Marni; and her siblings, Bill (Susan) and Marian (Bob).
She loved quilting and sewing, creating 1, 000s of handcrafted unique works of art for her friends, family, and charities, asking for nothing in return—table runners, quilts, yoga mat bags, bibs, hot pads, jackets, sweaters, scarves, blankets, t-shirts, stockings, advent calendars, easter baskets, mug rugs, placemats, covid masks, baby caps…and on…and on…and on.
