With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Aurora Mayberry (Rocky Ford, Colorado), who passed away on February 12, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Jose Leon Medina and Estefanita Gallegos Medina; her former life partner Ernie Busby; and her siblings, Samuel Medina, Pedro Medina, Tobias Medina and Delia Medina Vigil.
She is survived by : her husband Garland Mayberry; her sister Carmen Medina Sexton (Angie) of Santa Rosa, NM; and her step-children, Jamie Wright of Seattle, WA and Cindy Wright of Missouri. She is also survived by three granddaughters, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bellwood Ustick Funeral Home (305 N 8th St, Rocky Ford, CO 81067). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
