We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2024, at the age of 84, Gavina Alvidrez of Blanca, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Estevan Dominguez and Libertada Dominguez (Chavez); her husband Isidoro Alvidrez; and her son Monze Alvidrez. She is survived by : her children, Carlos Alvidrez (Karen Longworth) of Las Animas, CO, Maria Alvidrez of Blanca, CO and Teo Alvidrez of Las Animas, CO; and her grandchildren, Monze Jr., Jessica, Stephanie, Isabel, Isidoro, Charles, Gabby, Angelica, Alexandria, Paul, Jamie, Joseph, Antonio, Dillon, Carlos, Maria, Rayne, Remia, Aria, Raven and Raya. She is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Horber Funeral Chapel, Las Animas (404 Locust Ave, Las Animas, CO 81054). A rosary will be held on Thursday, February 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (714 Elm Ave, Las Animas, CO 81054). A mass of christian burial will be held on Thursday, February 22nd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 22nd 2024 at the Bent/Las Animas Cemetery (28082 Co Rd 10, Las Animas, CO 81054).
