She was predeceased by : her parents, Viola E Ruybal and John C Samora; her daughter Richelle S Jaramillo; and her siblings, Duane, Mario, Richard Samora, Esteban Carlos Estrada and Annalee Samora.
She is survived by : her husband Richard L Tafoya; her children, Esperanza Maestas (Jared) and Ricardo Tafoya (Megan); her grandchildren, Michaela Estrada (Joel), Michael, Maya Jaramillo, Domanic Gallegos (Heaven), Nathaniel Owsley (Mariah), Kayleigh Padilla, Briana, Ignacio Tafoya and Joaquin Maestas; and her great grandchildren, Jaedyn, Ethan Estrada, Luciana Owsley, Miciela and Harmony Vega. She is also survived by 6 sisters, 2 brothers, numerous nieces, nephews, god-children, extended family, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, February 23rd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church (425 Batterson St, Monte Vista, CO 81144). A rosary will be held on Friday, February 23rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A mass will be held on Saturday, February 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
