It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Elizabeth Roden of Creede, Colorado, born in Big Spring, Texas, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including : her children, Melanie Freedle (Bo), Rhonda Young (Duane) and Jeff Roden (Nancy); her grandchildren, Kimberly Cain, Justin Roden, Jordan Roden, Isabelle Freedle, Casper Freedle and Zachary Young; her great grandchild Kyla Rhoades; her parents, Jefferson H Riggs and Lora Gobbel Riggs; and her siblings, Felton Riggs, Delbert Riggs, Tommy Riggs and Jackie Phillips (Harris).
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Creede Baptist Church (600 La Garita St, Creede, CO 81130).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that offerings be made in Joyce's memory to Operation Christmas Child as expressions of our collective gratitude.
