She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Chavez and Alice Chavez (Jacques); her husband Alfred A. Atencio; and her brothers, Raymond Chavez, Paul Chavez and Tom Chavez.
She is survived by : her sons, Alfred Atencio (Nancy), Ken Atencio (Tonya) and Amos Atencio; her grandchildren, Emily, Alicia, Amanda and Ashley; her great grandchildren, Landon, Izayah and Marissa; and her siblings, Mercy Olivas (Lee), Grace Espinosa (Albert), Adelia Jiron, Becky Padley (Ron), Lenore Chavez, Abel Chavez (Sara) and Reynold Chavez. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, March 7th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church (511 S Church Pl, San Luis, CO 81152). A mass will be held on Friday, March 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
