He was predeceased by : his parents, Myrtle Irene Griffith and Charlie Griffith; his daughter Deborah Marie Uptain; and his siblings, Mary Elizabeth, Charleen and John.
He is survived by : his children, Cindy Mae Sutherland (Roger) of Cortez and George Martin "Marty" Griffith (Ronda) of Cortez; his son-in-law Dan Uptain of Cortez, Colo.; his sister Shirley; and his grandchildren, J. R. Uptain, Martin White, Randy Uptain, Gary Hampton, Tommy Hampton, Christina Jones and Allyce Griffith Tucker.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Ertel Memorial Chapel (42 N Market St, Cortez, CO 81321). A burial will be held on Friday, March 15th 2024 at 11:30 PM at the Dove Creek Cemetery (471 4th St, Dove Creek, CO 81324).
