Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Marion Van Dyk Portner of Rocky Ford, Colorado, who passed away at the age of 96, on March 9, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Murrel Anderson and Mina Anderson; her former life partner Leonard P. "Bud" Van Dyk; and her husband Samuel Portner. She is survived by : her children, Neil Van Dyk (Nancy) of Rocky Ford and Laurie Maxfield (Steve) of Monte Vista; her grandchildren, Eric Van Dyk (Shayla), Nicholas Van Dyk (Jenn), Russell Van Dyk (Diane Crow) and Stephanie Maxfield (Thor Martinez); and her great grandchildren, Cayson Van Dyk, Grady Van Dyk, Dutch Van Dyk and Taylor Van Dyk. She is also survived by numerous step grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (400 S 9th St, Rocky Ford, CO 81067).
