He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignace Kapelovitz and Ethel Kapelovitz; and his siblings, Harold, Marcus, Sam and Loraine.
He is survived by: his wife Abbey; his children, Dan and Mara Goldman (Adam); his grandsons, Max and Sam; his brother Gerald; and his sister-in-law Susan Krieger.
