He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Spencer and Verna Spencer (Knutson); and his wife Luciann Spencer (McGrane). He is survived by: his children, Chrystiann Kanich, Thomas Spencer, Andrea Spencer, Luciana Spencer and Stephen Spencer; his siblings, Diana Nolte, Peggy Charczuk, Ginger Spencer and Michael Spencer; his grandchildren, Michael Kelleher, TJ Spencer, Ryan Spencer and Azul Arnedo Spencer; and his great grandchild Ellie Kelleher.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shrine of Remembrance (1730 E Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ft. Logan National Cemetery (4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236). A reception will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Hill (775 W Bijou St, Colorado Springs, CO 80905).
