He was predeceased by: his parents, Evie Engel and Evelyn Engel; and his sister Karen Engel. He is survived by: his wife Joyce L Engel; his children, Steffanie Frese (Robert), Jacquelyn Engel Cardenas (Scott) and Scott Engel (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Robert "Travis" Frese, Tristan Frese, Kylie Frese, Blake Frese, Burke Frese, Dirk Cardenas and Max Cardenas; and his siblings, Patricia Kelly, Doug Engel and Nancy Rigg.
