He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Kreikemeier and Matilda Kreikemeier; his brothers, Bob and Kenny; and his son Billy.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his sister Mary Ann Emmanuel; and his children, Lori Johnson, Jean Flattery (Terry), Alan (Nora), Dean (Dawn), Joe, Jim and Jill Boyle (Larry). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
