He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman N. Briar and Maurine W. Briar (Dreier); and his siblings, Sondra Berry and Stan Briar. He is survived by: his wife Carmen K. Applegate; his children, Jeff Briar (Dana) of Foxfield, Colorado and Amy Brown (Tim) of Overland Park, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Carly Brown, Riley Brown, Aaron Briar and Rachel Briar.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Peace Creek Cemetery (1066 N Salt Marsh Rd, Sylvia, KS 67581).
