She was predeceased by: her parents, Wanda May and William McLean; her husband Scott Mellema; her siblings, Greg McLean and Susan Smith (Richard); her in-laws, Kenneth and Veronica Mellema; her sister-in-law Sandra Ann Mellema; and her niece Erin Higgins-Boluda.
She is survived by: her daughter Samantha Purvis (Bryson); her granddaughters, Brynleigh and Braylah Purvis; her sister Melinda McLean; her nephews, Alex Mendoza and William Mendoza; her brother-in-law Mark Mellema (Shannon); her nieces, Brandi Crouch (Chase) and Jordan Beard (Richard); her brother-in-law Richard Smith; and her nieces, Patty Smith and Chrissy Smith.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary (7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). A reception will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:49 PM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236).
