She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Lumpkin and Ruby Lumpkin; her husband Dan Newman; her siblings, Robert and Sheryl; and her nephew Bradley.
She is survived by: her nieces, Bobbi Heitschmidt (Keven) and Buffi Elliott (Shawn); her nephew Paul Anderson; her great-nieces, Mandi Welch, Maggi Bratton (Chris) and Claire Heitschmidt; and her great-nephew Dante Heitschmidt.
