She is survived by: her husband Gaylord "Doc" Shaffer; and her children, Lisa George (Wade), Bernie Black, Rosa Gaither (Dale), Robin Booth (Jace), Nikki Gunther (Brian), Lewis Shaffer (Christina) and Justin Shaffer. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren, many extended family members, former foster children, and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Alamosa Elks Lodge #1297 (406 Hunt Ave, Alamosa, CO 81101).
