It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Glen Smith (Delta, Colorado), who passed away on May 8, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Smith Sr. and Pearl Louise Smith (Barker); and his siblings, Flossie, Carl, George, Mary, Sheldon, Ivan, Joe, Inez, Junior, Sis, Bud, Bob, Snook, Jack, Betty and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Glen Smith and Carri Marie Gillenwater (Smith); and his wife Betty Louise Jones. He is also survived by two children, all of their grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Cemetery (14515 Canyon Rd, Paonia, CO 81428).
