Though Joan Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Racheal Geisick and Herman Geisick; her brother David Geisick (William Geisick); and her son Edward Jean Nix. She is survived by: her sister Kathy McIsaac of San Jose, CA; her children, Diane Nix, Alan Nix of Billings, MT and Scott Nix of Sterling, CO; and her grandson Andrew Copley of Wellington, CO.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 6787 Wild Grass Ln, Wellington, CO 80549.
