She is survived by: her husband William H Carpenter; her children, Christine (Miguel), John (Jan) and James; and her great grandchildren, Julia (Jeff), Thomas (Chelsea), Claire (Matt) and Emily (Nora). She is also survived by her children, four grandchildren.
