With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Ann Stampka of Byers, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 12, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ruth Ann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Gary; her sons, Jeff and Scott; her grandchildren, Erin and Landon; and her sisters, Mary Krouser, Carol Jones and Jean Enlow.
A vigil service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Plains Catholic Church (193 W Bijou Ave, Byers, CO 80103). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
