As Geraldine departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Geraldine. Though Geraldine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rebecca Jane Grose Brady and Horace Leonard Brady; her husband Alfred Black; her son Michael Black; and her sisters, Edith Newberry, Ethel Campbell, Gladys Howard and Fay Emmerson Pray.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Black and Maria Black of Colorado Springs, CO; and her brothers, Leonard Brady (Elaine), Richard Brady and Joe Brady.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holt Funeral Home (806 Macon Ave, Cañon City, CO 81212).
