He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Charles Jacob Smearman, Vu Van Hanh and Do Thi Xuyen; and his aunts and uncles, Mary Ann Smearman Rosinsky, Vu Van Roanh, Vu Van Huynh (Thu Vu) and Vu Thi Hue.
He is survived by: his wife Kaileen Rouin; his parents, Stephen Charles Smearman and Yen Thi Vu-Smearman; his brother Peter Joseph Smearman; his grandmother Helen Elizabeth "Betsy" Smearman; his aunts and uncles, Greg (Laura Smearman), Schim Rosinsky, Susan Maltby Smearman, Edward (Barbara Smearman) and Diem Dang; and his in-laws, Darleen, Chris Rouin, Brittany, Paul, Lucie, Leo Mederos, Patrick Rouin and Maggie Rouin.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Probst Family Funerals (79 E Main St, Midway, UT 84049). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 2001 W 1200 S, Heber City, UT 84032.
