As Merle departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Merle may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Merle leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his father Walter Boden; his wife Jan; his siblings, LeeRoy Boden, Donnavan Boden, Janice Bouc (Ken) and Linda Schole (Boden); and his nephew Darrin Bouc.
He is survived by: his mother Trientje "Tena" Boden (Kelle); his sisters, Ardis Wentz (Ken) of Sterling, NE and Mary Waddington (Boden) of Phoenix, AZ; his siblings-in-law, Jackie Boden of Sterling, NE and Ben Schole of Hooper, NE; and his niece Kaye R. Boden (Jacobson) of Loveland, CO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Merle's Home (2311 N Garfield Ave, Loveland, CO 80538).
