She was predeceased by: her parents, Delfido Lucero and Aurora Lucero (Jerry Rice); her siblings, Ambrosia Sanchez (Abran), Marcella Martinez (Nestor), Tommie Roybal (Gilbert), Casimiro Lucero (Sadie), Salvador Lucero (Helen), Benjamin Lucero and David Lucero; and her pet Sandy.
She is survived by: her daughter Catherine Irish (Sean Irish); her sisters, Tina Ulibarri (Tony), Viola Lopez, Demie Lucero and Charlotte Lucero; and her spouse Jerry Rice. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (403 Valencia St, Las Vegas, NM 87701). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
