Vernon Owara

We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2025, at the age of 77, Vernon Owara of Aurora, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Vernon may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Vernon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sakari Owara and Natsuye Owara. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his siblings, Wayne, Leslie, Lynette and Harvey; and his children, Shane Owara (Alyssa) and Shannon Chang (Joe). He is also survived by four grandchildren.
