It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn Martinez of Pueblo, Colorado, who passed away on August 15, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leonardo "Lefty" Martinez; her parents, Eli Trujillo and Mercy Trujillo; her grandparents, Jose and Gurtrude Sanchez; her son-in-law Sammy LoPresti; and her sister-in-law Charlene Trujillo.
She is survived by: her children, Duane Martinez (Joan) and DeAnn LoPresti; her grandchildren, CJ Krummel (Chas) and Josh Duran (Jamie); her great grandchildren, Jaycee, Jalen and Jacoby Duran; and her siblings, Lorraine Loya (Raymundo), MaryJane Razo (Anthony), Arnold Trujillo and Nilia Salazar. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1145 S Aspen Rd, Pueblo, CO 81006). A Mass will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roselawn Cemetery (1706 Roselawn Rd, Pueblo, CO 81006).
