It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland Ray Whitaker (Pueblo, Colorado), born in Danville, Kentucky, who passed away on August 24, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Holland Whitaker and Martha Frances Whitaker; and his brothers, Greg, Gerald and Keith Whitaker.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia of Boone; his sons, Baron Whitaker and Ben Whitaker (Andrea Volk) of Pueblo; his grandchildren, Chris Jaquez, Ashlie Whitaker (Tommy Provost), Dallas Whitaker (Lauren) and Triston Whitaker (Janae Quintana); his great grandchildren, Leilah, Brayon Smithey, Jaxx Whitaker, Cadalina, Elliana, Malia Jaquez, Addison and Emma Provost; and his brothers, Ronnie, Allen and Paul Whitaker.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Montgomery & Steward Banquet Hall (1317 N Main St, Pueblo, CO 81003).
