We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2025, at the age of 77, Donna Rue Lane (Montrose, Colorado) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Donna has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Porter and Wanda Lou Newkirk (Clemens); and her son Scott Travis Lane. She is survived by: her husband Clifford Jack Lane; her children, Dusti and Kirk (Kara); her grandchildren, Trenton, Carlie and Cassidy; and her siblings, Diane Moore (Newkirk), Jim Newkirk and Jana Bauman (Newkirk). She is also survived by her brothers- and sisters-in-law; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Crippin Funeral Home (802 E Main St, Montrose, CO 81401). A reception will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Montrose Lions Clubhouse (602 N Nevada Ave, Montrose, CO 81401).
