It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Kennedy (Wheat Ridge, Colorado), who passed away on August 23, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Missouria Redden and James Willie Kelley. She is survived by: her sisters, Lucille Kelley Brown and Darletha Kelley; her friends, Lois and Gene; her former husband Tommy Kennedy; her friends, Phyllis Mays and Lillie Mason; her husband Oneida; her friend Cynthia Simmons; her brother Michael (Melinda); her daughter Sandra M. Turner; her brother James Robert Kelley Jr.; her siblings' children, Louise Brown-Gray, Mary Etta Brown-Powell, Ronetta Kelley, Diane Brown, Ruth Brown, Morris Brown and Terry Kelley-Brown; her godson Tyrone Spencer; and also, Mark and Lulu.
She was a lifelong contributor to the Alzheimer's association.
