He is survived by: his wife Sue of Holly, Colorado; his children, Stacy Sample of Edmond, Robin Galyon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Don D. Galyon of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and his stepchildren, Lisa Cherry of Denver, Colorado and Monty Mayo of Springfield, Colorado.
