He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Moote and Grayce Moote (Brumbaugh); his son Larry; his siblings, Gary (Janet Moote) and Janet (Lee Aughinbaugh); and his daughter-in-law Brenda Moote.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Swank of Greeley; his children, Anice Young (Lynn) of Greeley and Kevin Moote of Windsor; his grandchildren, Amy Ramanadham (Mahesh) of Highland, MD, Melissa Novak of Brookfield, WI, Erin Pade (Nic) of Arvada, CO, Quentin Moote (Anita) of Evans, CO and Chelsea (Moote); and his great grandchildren, Carter, Madyn Pade, Hadley, Rowan, Drew, Harlow Novak, Reese, Jacob Ramanadham, Adelynn Bush, Amira and Aziel Moote.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Greeley Seventh-Day Adventist Church (1002 21st Ave, Greeley, CO 80631). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Hillside Cemetery.
