It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Jean Shawver in Northglenn, Colorado, who passed away on September 8, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Fitterer and Laurel Fitterer; her former husband Jim Wilkins (Jim) of Glencoe, MN; and her brothers, Francis and Richard Fitterer (Dick).
She is survived by: her husband Richard Shawver (Rich); her children, Tony Wilkins (Vicki), Jon Wilkins (Tammy) and Jerry Wilkins (Debbie); her brothers, Robert (Bob), Thomas (Tom) and Mike Fitterer; her stepchildren, Drew Shawver (Missy), Dwayne Shawver (Amber) and Daren Shawver (Stephanie); and her pet Duke. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, one great grandson, eight step-grandchildren, three step-great grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Olinger Highland Mortuary (10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (11385 Grant Dr, Northglenn, CO 80233). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ft. Logan National Cemetery (4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236).
