She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyde F. "Larry" Banister and Rita M. Banister (Cote); and her nephew Matthew P. King. She is survived by: her son Richard M. "Rick" Betterton (Lori Beth) of Granby; her granddaughter Isabella Gilbert Betterton; her sisters, Louise M. King (Paul Soja) of Chicopee and Christina J. Carbaugh of Chicopee; and her nieces, Melissa Motta (Giuseppe), Tonna Dieter (Eric) and Rachael Carbaugh (Patrick Bradenbaugh). She is also survived by grand nieces; and her many dear cousins, extended family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Sainte Rose Cemetery (49 Olsen St, Chicopee, MA 01020).
