He was predeceased by: his spouse Captain Clinton Lee Wood; and his parents, Mary Wood (Spruill) and Montgomery Wood. He is survived by: his children, Marlene, Joann, Brian and Timothy; his sister Dixey Teel; his sibling's children, Marlene Hurshman (Jonathan), Joann Codori, Brian Wood (Tracy Cushing) and Timothy Wood (Rachel); and his grandchildren, William Paige III, Rebecca Merrill, Caleb Hurshman, Krista Hurshman, Logan Myers and Johanna Wood.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fairmount Cemetery (430 S Quebec St, Denver, CO 80247). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
