She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Francis Ensign (Mabel Anita Goodman Ensign) and Linda; her brother John Ensign; and her great great grandchild Chandler Rose Kirkpatrick. She is survived by: her husband Peter Sargeant Middlemist; her children, Mark Middlemist (Jan) of Wichita, KS, Marsha Cash (Ronald) of Alamosa, CO and Robert Middlemist (Krista) of Alamosa, CO.; and her sister Mary Cartwright of Louisville, CO. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rogers Family Mortuary (205 State Ave, Alamosa, CO 81101). A burial will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the San Luis Valley Cemetery (Monte Vista, CO 81144).
