He is survived by: his brother Jack Defez; and his nieces and nephews, Lauren Defez (Tracy), Tamar Morgan and Jonathan Defez (Nancy Weinstock). He is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 22nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mt. Nebo Cemetery (11701 E 13th Ave, Aurora, CO 80010).
