With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Lynn Walker (Balch Springs, Texas), who passed away on January 1, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Mozelle Featherston Blackledge and David Blackledge; her siblings, Margret Elmore (Leroy Elmore) and John Cotton; her sister-in-law Hope Cotton; and her father-in-law Edwin Walker.
She is survived by : her daughters, Chauncy D. Rodriguez (Eli Rodriguez) of Athens, TX and Courtney D. Moseley (John Moseley) of Ennis, TX; her grandchildren, Sierra Desiree'Rodriguez and Efraim David Mosley; her siblings, Raymond, Marie Cotten of Brownsboro, TX, James, Frances Cotton of Shreveport, LA, Dee Anne Brevetti (Michael) of Mesquite, TX, Jeri Veal of Durant, OK, Wanda Foley (Ray) of Sachse, TX and Billy Blackledge of Virginia; and her cousin Church. She is also survived by Nieces, Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Laurel Oaks Memorial Chapel (12649 Lake June Rd, Balch Springs, TX 75180). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christian Center of Mesquite (4401 E Cartwright Rd, Mesquite, TX 75181).
