He was predeceased by : his parents, Curtis Baxter and Mary Alice Baxter (Duley); his sister Holly Baxter; and his step-father John Duley. He is survived by : his children, Brandon Baxter (Heather) of Lake Jackson, TX, Kimberly Grinnell (Reagan) of Leander, TX and Jacob Baxter of West Columbia, TX; his grandchildren, Layla Michelle and Case Samuel Baxter; his brothers, Mark Baxter (Audrey) of Longview, TX, Matt Baxter (Estella) of Abilene, TX and Clyde Baxter (Heather) of Minneapolis, MN.; and his former life partner Dina Venegas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (226 S Broad St, West Columbia, TX 77486). Viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home (634 S Columbia Dr, West Columbia, TX 77486).
