She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Hendrix and Anna Hendrix. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Moody; her daughters, Jackie Rogers (Graford) of Corpus Christi and Melva Moody of San Antonio, Texas.; her grandsons, Brad Harlan and Tyler Chambliss (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Emma, Maggie Harlan, Nathaniel and Arabelle Chambliss; her siblings-in-law, Barbara Ann Lawrence, Yvonne Herrmann and David Moody; her children, Cheryl Linn Moody, Jack Moody and Charlie Melvin Moody; her siblings, Evelyn Yonker, Paul Hendrix, James Hendrix and Bernie Neilsen; her nephews, Donny Lawrence and Mark Kennerly; and also C. L. Moody, Jr.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary (205 General Cavazos Blvd, Kingsville, TX 78363). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Restland Cemetery.
