He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Rethmeier and Hubert "Hip" Rethmeier. He is survived by: his wife Beth Rethmeier (Hodges); his son Hubert; his daughter-in-law Storm; his grandsons, Hubert "Kip" and Jonah; and his sister Sharon Pugh.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Washington Park East (10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
