It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennifer L. Emler (Indianapolis, Indiana), who passed away on April 16, 2026, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Nickey Emler; her father William "Bill" Bullington; and her grandparents, Thomas, Nina Howell, JC and Haze Bullington.
She is survived by: her mother Linda Howell-Gedek; her children, Bethany Shelton (Brandon), Justin Emler (Mindi) and Brittany Scruggs (Snapper); her grandchildren, Jacob, Gabbie, Kyle, Lexi, Damion, Devin, Dominick, Brielle, Caden, Gavin, Madison, Terinna and Skyler; her great grandchildren, Karter, Gunnar, Sadie, Keenan and Aveya; and her sisters, Suzanne, Crystal, Melissa and Emily.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services (1604 W Morris St, Indianapolis, IN 46221). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
