She was predeceased by: her husband Willie Ed Hiter; her mother Mary Helen Underwood; her stepfather Clifford Edmond Jackson; and her father Harry Cardinal. She is survived by: her son Edmond Leroy Hiter (late Willie Ed Hiter); and her niece Christy Fishburn. She is also survived by many family members, including sisters, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services—lawrence. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
