It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John H Blanton of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Blanton and Maya Blanton; his wife Wanda Blanton; and his children, Michael Blanton and Shari Endris.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Oliver Endris and Mystari Endris; and his son-in-law Patrick Endris.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens & Funeral Home (1977 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
